Donald Trump announced the introduction of additional tariffs of 25% on goods from India.

Reason: Import and export of Russian oil.

From the White House statement:

— The US Presidential Administration may impose similar tariffs on other countries that buy Russian oil.

— The actions and policies of the Russian government continue to pose an unusual and serious threat to the national security and foreign policy of the United States.

— If the Russian government takes significant steps to address the emergency and is sufficiently consistent with US positions on national security, foreign policy, and economic issues, Trump may change this order.
