$PUMP

Pump.fun – the famous meme token creation platform – is striving to maintain its leading position by shifting its focus to community tokens. After announcing the list of outstanding community memes, TROLL – one of the newly recognized projects – quickly rose to an all-time high price, marking a significant turning point for the community token trend on this platform.

Pump.fun's new strategy

Previously, Pump.fun was known for quickly and easily creating meme tokens. However, this platform has taken a strategic step by shifting from merely creating raw tokens to focusing on developing tokens with deep community involvement.

A highlight of this strategy is the CTO (Community Takeover) title awarded to special tokens. CTO tokens are not only given prominent status but also share in revenue and receive extensive media support, helping them easily reach users and maintain long-term appeal.

According to Pump.fun, well-managed CTO tokens spread more effectively on social media, thus maintaining stable operations, unlike most tokens that tend to be abandoned after just 30 days. At the same time, CTO also opens up a 'second chance' for tokens that have experienced a developer sell-off.

TROLL – From potential token to new star

One of the projects that benefited greatly from the CTO title is TROLL. After being recognized by Pump.fun, this token surged in price from 0.02 USD to 0.19 USD, equivalent to a growth of over 391% in just a few days. As of the time of writing, the accumulated increase from this token's low of 0.0038 USD has been reported by Bitcoin Magazine at 4,890%.

Notably, TROLL is not only developing on decentralized platforms like PumpSwap and Meteora, but it is also listed on the KuCoin exchange, helping to expand liquidity. In fact, a top trader has recorded profits of over 1.3 million USD from TROLL.

With a market capitalization of around 220 million USD, TROLL has now become the third largest token in the Pump.fun ecosystem, closely following Peanut the Squirrel (PNUT).

In addition to promoting community tokens, Pump.fun has also implemented a buyback and burn program for PUMP, using 139,759 SOL (equivalent to over 23 million USD) to enhance the value of this token. As a result, the price of PUMP has increased from 0.002 USD to 0.0034 USD over the past few weeks, with trading support from Bybit.

Although PUMP is still under selling pressure from initial investors, Pump.fun is gradually regaining its reputation as it continues to lead the market in the number of tokens created. In the past 24 hours, the platform has launched 15,031 new tokens, far surpassing its competitor LetsBonk.fun (12,236 tokens) and other platforms.

The strategy focused on community tokens is helping Pump.fun reposition itself as a dynamic ecosystem, while paving the way for projects like TROLL to break through. With the rapid growth of TROLL and other CTO tokens, the community expects Pump.fun to continue maintaining its momentum in the meme coin market in the coming period.
