Solana launches Seeker smartphone globally, with pre-orders exceeding 150,000 units
According to Deep Tide TechFlow, Solana officially launched the on-chain smartphone Seeker for sale in over 50 countries and regions, with pre-orders exceeding 150,000 units, far surpassing the 20,000 units sold of the first-generation device Saga. The Seeker is priced between $450 and $500, equipped with upgraded hardware, a native crypto wallet, and a decentralized application store, and is expected to bring at least $67.5 million in revenue to Solana.
The general manager of Solana Mobile stated that the deep integration of Seeker's on-chain features will lower the barrier for users to enter Web3, driving more users to use SOL, which is expected to boost the price of the coin. As blockchain technology accelerates towards end devices, the connection between ordinary users and the crypto world is becoming increasingly close.
