🇮🇱 Netanyahu Vows Full Israeli Control Over Gaza in Expanding Offensive
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has declared his intention to expand military operations in Gaza until Israel achieves full control over the entire territory. In recent public statements and a video posted on his Telegram channel, Netanyahu affirmed that “Israel will take control of all areas of the Strip,” framing the move as essential to national security. The offensive, which intensified in May 2025 under Operation Gideon’s Chariots, has already placed 65–70% of Gaza under Israeli military presence. The declaration comes amid mounting international pressure, as humanitarian conditions in Gaza worsen—with widespread shortages of food, water, and medical supplies. Human rights organizations and foreign governments have raised concerns over potential long-term occupation and violations of international law. Despite this, Netanyahu insists that the military campaign will only end when Hamas is dismantled and Israeli forces maintain security control across Gaza.
