#BTCReserveStrategy Bitcoin is rising after the recent drop. The crypto market is waiting for this data.
Bitcoin, ether, and other major altcoins began to rise in price on Sunday, regaining strength after last week's decline. However, investors are waiting for important data.
Bitcoin is rising again on the chart.
The market is waiting for new data from the USA regarding inflation.
Additionally, we have the change of the Fed's chair and interest rate cuts ahead of us.
Bitcoin is regaining favor among investors.
So far, bitcoin is slowly rising after last week's declines. On Friday, the BTC price dropped to 111,800 USD. Today it costs just over 114,000 USD. Ether has returned to levels above 3,500 USD.
According to many analysts, the declines were a reaction to the words of the Fed chair, who suggested that for now, the central bank cannot lower interest rates. However, this was probably just a pretext for a healthy correction that took place.
Moreover, the Fed Watch Tool is again pricing in as many as three interest rate cuts this year, including the first one as early as September. Such strong rate cuts are a boon for the rise of altcoins.
Not just the Fed.
It's not just about the Fed anymore. The US authorities have also published a report titled 'Crypto Project', which describes the principles of pro-cryptocurrency policy in America. Additionally, we are waiting for important data regarding CPI inflation. If it turns out that it is falling, the Fed will have an argument to lower interest rates.
Moreover, let's remember that changes in the Fed will occur as early as May 2026 - Jerome Powell's term will end, which means his position will be taken by a candidate appointed by Donald Trump.
The current president will certainly point to an economist for this position, who will conduct policies aligned with the goals that the current White House wants to achieve. In practice, this will mean more aggressive cuts and possibly quantitative easing.
As the history of the cryptocurrency market shows, such an environment - lower rates and money printing - should drive increases not only in bitcoin but also in altcoins, including those that are often worthless.
It is possible that we have over a year of increases ahead of us. At least we will finally get an answer to what most influences the cryptocurrency market. If interest rates remain, we still have a strong bull market ahead.
