Autonomys Labs has made key progress across its stack, pushing toward Mainnet Phase-2. A major milestone is the successful audit by Security Research Labs (SRLabs), confirming no critical issues in core areas like cross-domain messaging (XDM), Proof-of-Time, and Proof-of-Archival-Storage. This clears the way for secure, production-level deployments.
On the technical side, node syncing and indexer performance were significantly improved. These fixes reduce memory overload and make it easier for developers to run full nodes without crashing during data-heavy syncing. Meanwhile, AutoDrive—the decentralized file retrieval service—got an upgrade with better uptime thanks to smarter service separation, though bandwidth remains a work in progress.
User experience also took a leap forward. The new Agent UI supports natural chat-style interactions instead of just command prompts, making it friendlier for non-technical users. Plus, a unified design system was introduced to ensure clean, consistent interfaces across apps.
Why it matters: Developers get a more stable, secure base to build on, especially with fraud-proof mechanisms in place. Users benefit from smoother performance and intuitive interaction with agents. These updates mark a shift from experimental testbeds to a reliable, user-facing infrastructure—one that’s ready for real-world adoption.
