Arkham Retrospectively Uncovers $3.5B Bitcoin Heist The Largest Ever Recorded
LuBian, a Chinese crypto mining pool operating out of China and Iran, appears to have fallen victim to a massive theft.
On-chain data analysis by Arkham reveals that 127,426 $BTC was stolen from LuBian in December 2020 worth around $3.5 billion then and roughly $14.5 billion today.
Until now, neither LuBian nor the attacker had ever publicly acknowledged the hack.
