After years of tinkering in Web3, I've seen quite a lot and I'm really feeling a bit of 'airdrop fatigue.' Projects come one after another, but most lack real support; at the end of the day, it's just a game of passing the parcel. Until recently, I noticed a project that is a bit different: MineralFi.

Its foundation is quite solid; it's not just telling a story or making empty promises. What backs it are the physical gold mine assets on Indonesia's Richil Island, one of the top ten gold mines in the world, compliant on-chain, truly bringing resources from the real world onto the chain. The project also has support from the European ERMA Foundation, making it a rare heavy asset-type blockchain upgrade project in terms of compliance and resource backing.

It's said that the private placement is expected to start in early August, and there are already quite a few large funds lining up, with thousands to tens of thousands in allocations competing to invest; small amounts might not even get a chance. The project has a high level of interest, and market feedback is quite positive. It truly doesn't seem like an ordinary 'get-rich-quick' project; it has some long-term value.
