Malware-Laced Steam Games Pose Threat to Crypto Holders
Steam game Chemia was found to contain three types of malware designed to steal user credentials and crypto wallet data. Hijack Loader, Fickle Stealer, and Vidar Stealer targeted MetaMask and other wallets.
The group EncryptHub (Larva-208) has been linked to the campaign.
Though Chemia has been taken down, it follows a pattern seen with Sniper: Phantom’s Resolution and PirateFi — both previously used for similar attacks.
