Coinbase 本周将上架三种新的山寨币

Coinbase has three altcoins set to launch this week: BankrCoin (BNKR), BioProtocol (BIO), and ResearchCoin (RSC). BNKR has already launched, with a price increase of nearly 30%.

Two other tokens will start trading tomorrow, themed around DeSci: the interaction between cryptocurrency and science. BIO aims to fund new research, while RSC seeks to improve users' scientific literacy.

Coinbase's latest token list

Coinbase is one of the largest exchanges in the world, with a massive scale of token launches and significant influence. The company is preparing to launch two new tokens this week, while another token just went live today.

As usual, Coinbase is preparing a diverse array of assets to enrich its portfolio. At the forefront is BankrCoin (BNKR), which saw a price surge after its announcement of listing:

BankrCoin价格表现

BankrCoin is the native token of the AI trading agent Bankr and is also the only AI-related asset launched on Coinbase this week.

The platform supports BNKR holders by charging swap fees, incentivizing user participation. However, market competition is fierce, and BankrCoin has high volatility and low liquidity.

Nonetheless, Coinbase has already listed the token, so this launch could provide a significant boost. So far, most trading volume is concentrated on DEXs, with some CEXs, mainly Gate.io.

In any case, it is the most meme-coin styled asset on Coinbase's agenda, as the other two focus on the scientific applications of crypto.

These two assets, ResearchCoin (RSC) and Bio Protocol (BIO), appeared on Coinbase's listing roadmap around the same time.

Coinbase 上市后的 Bio Protocol

Bio Protocol aims to utilize tokenized incentives for decentralized community funding for biotechnology research and development. Through a dedicated DAO, BIO holders can vote to decide how funds are allocated to specific research projects.

This asset was established in January 2025 and has yet to gain substantial support from research institutions.

Clearly, BIO will allow users to issue NFTs based on community-funded scientific discoveries, but this requires establishing positive collaborations with scientists. In any case, its long-term growth model seems to rely on community hype and speculation.

Another DeSci token listed on Coinbase, ResearchCoin, adopts a different model. RSC is not used to fund scientific research but rather encourages holders to conduct scientific research.

It has been active since 2022, rewarding users who share useful research papers and engage in meaningful discussions.

ResearchCoin价格表现

After Coinbase announced the listing, ResearchCoin surged by over 10%. According to CoinMarketCap data, the token's daily trading volume skyrocketed by over 200%.

These three assets collectively highlight the truly diverse nature of Coinbase's token listing strategy.
