Cardano #ADA founder Charles Hoskinson confirmed that the long-awaited Midnight Glacier Drop will finally launch in the second half of 2025, with a formal date to be announced during the Rare Evo event (August 6–10). The snapshot for eligibility
has already been completed.
🔔This historic airdrop is expected to reach 37 million wallets across multiple networks, including ADA, BTC, ETH, SOL, BNB, AVAX, BAT, and now XRP.
Here’s how the NIGHT token distribution breaks down:
Cardano holders (ADA): 50%
Bitcoin holders (#BTC ): 30%
#Xrp🔥🔥 holders: 5% (~1.2 billion NIGHT tokens) based on a June 11 snapshot requiring ≥$100 XRP holdings
ETH, SOL, BNB, AVAX, BAT: Share remaining 15%
🔔The claim portal for eligible wallets went live on July 15, remaining open for 60 days through mid-September. Unclaimed tokens will enter a Scavenger Mine phase or return to Midnight’s treasury after four years.
