Recent insights from my trading experience: the success rate for trading BTC and ETH on the left side is higher than on the right side. For short trades, it's generally much more comfortable to trade on the left side.
Trading altcoins is quite difficult, and you can only trade on the right side. When selecting altcoins, you can only choose those with active trading volumes; the rest remain stagnant. I do not hold any altcoins.
In this cycle, I plan to buy more mainstream assets for long-term holding, specifically BTC and ETH. For altcoins, I only attempt to profit from significant upward trends and do not hold any altcoins long-term.
Holding BTC or ETH for the long term should outperform all your other speculative moves. In the future, altcoins will not yield returns that surpass holding these two assets.
