According to @FortuneMagazine, Nasdaq-listed trading platform @eToro is evaluating whether to develop its own blockchain. CEO Yoni Assia revealed the company is exploring potential partnerships with Layer 1 and Layer 2 networks, and a proprietary eToro sidechain is also under consideration. While no concrete details were shared, Assia noted that if eToro shifts part of its operations to the crypto space, a sidechain would be a logical step.
