🚨Alarm rings, gold is in abundance!!!

The official Twitter account of the RWA project Asteroid X has been stolen, and the risk of fraud is imminent.

On July 28, 2025, the RWA (Real World Assets) project Asteroid X experienced an incident where its official Twitter account was hacked. The project aims to tokenize high-quality mining exploration assets in Australia, which was intended as a positive attempt to explore asset digitization, but due to the breach of social account security, it became a tool for hacker fraud.

After stealing the account, the hacker quickly posted fraudulent links, attempting to lure users to click, thereby executing malicious acts such as stealing coins and personal information. In the crypto space, account theft and the subsequent posting of fraudulent information is not uncommon; if users accidentally click, wallet assets and privacy data may be lost in an instant, making subsequent rights protection and evidence collection extremely difficult.

For retail investors like us, we must remain vigilant at all times: when seeing links forwarded from the project's official social accounts, first verify through multiple channels such as the official website and community; never click links from questionable sources without scrutiny, and cultivate the habit of 'verify the link first, secure assets must be prioritized'; at the same time, project teams should strengthen social account security measures, enable two-factor authentication, and regularly change keys to prevent hackers from taking advantage of security weaknesses in the ecosystem that was painstakingly built.

This incident once again sounds the alarm: innovation and risk coexist in the crypto space. Whether for project teams or participants, reinforcing security defenses is essential to ensure that emerging explorations like RWA can progress steadily, rather than becoming a 'withdrawal channel' for hackers to reap profits.
