Nexus Airdrop Tutorial 2
Running Nexus CLI on Ubuntu System Tutorial
Prerequisite: A computer running Linux system, a certain network environment, preferably with more than 4GB of memory.
Step 1 Open the terminal in the Linux system, enter curl ht. tps.://cl. i.ne. xus.xy. z/ | sh (remove .)
Step 2 The terminal will prompt you to enter y to continue downloading, enter it and press enter, then refresh the environment, enter nexus-cli start --node-id <your-node-id>, the Your node ID here needs to be registered on the official website and click the icon that looks like a grid below (the computer is in the upper left corner) to click add node to get it, each person is different.
Question 1 An issue will arise about the Linux x86 kernel not being installed, you can copy the three lines of code below, directly enter them in the terminal and press enter then refresh the environment.
Question 2 Everything went according to the tutorial, but the terminal prompts that the nexus-cli program cannot be found. This issue can be resolved by restarting the computer or refreshing the environment and entering again. If it still doesn’t work, you must manually clone the git repository and unzip it, rename the unzipped folder to nexus-cli, move it to the home directory, and then re-enter the code.
Question 3 Cargo is required.
Search for rust on the web, click on the official website and click Get Started, there will be a line of code below, copy it and enter it in the terminal.
Benefit: This can be achieved by opening multiple terminals to realize the effect of multiple hanging nodes. Adding --headless after the official nexus-cli start --node-id <your-node-id> can remove the screen display and reduce memory usage😘
