As someone who mines nodes everywhere, I saw that @ainx_io NodeX100 miner has an expected return of $2000 in two months, so I conducted an evaluation. Below are the evaluation data and expected return calculation method:

1. Expected return calculation for AINX NodeX100

I see many people say that buying the NodeX100 miner for $599 will pay off in less than ten days. Let's see if that's the case.

🔸 First, it needs to be clarified that AINX is a project that provides computing power for AI, while the NodeX100 is a physical device, not a virtual node; just plug it in and connect to the network to start earning.

🔸 Using the NodeX100 miner, the mined tokens are called BIT (similar to points, which can be exchanged for SOL or AINX in Q4);

🔸 If exchanged for AINX, the returns might be higher, but it requires exchanging for $AINX tokens after the AINX mainnet goes live.

🔸 Dedicated miner NodeX100 can produce 2,400 BIT per day (100 BIT/hour), allowing for a total of 144,000 BIT in two months.

🔸 According to the redemption formula from the project team, a single device can produce BIT that can be exchanged for approximately 500,000 $AINX. Based on mainstream project valuations in the DePIN track (e.g., FDV of $200 million, total of 50 billion tokens), the single price for $AINX upon launch would be around $0.004, making the token value of a single device about $2,000.

Calculating this way, if $AINX goes live soon and the market price is good, basically, it will take about 20 days to break even.

2. Comparison of NodeX100 miner and Mac mini M4 chip

Since the NodeX100 miner has a similar official price to the Mac mini M4 (lowest configuration), I have always used the Mac mini series for mining. With the release of the NodeX100 miner, it is inevitable to compare it with the Mac mini.

The data is shown in the figure below, focusing mainly on the chip usage:

🔸 In terms of CPU: The NodeX100 is equipped with the Qualcomm QCS8250 AI chip, featuring Qualcomm Hexagon DSP + AI Engine, supporting 15 TOPS of heterogeneous AI computing power, with low power consumption, suitable for 24/7 operation.

This chip is specifically designed as a high-integration SoC (system-on-chip) for low-power computing devices such as edge AI, smart gateways, and IoT terminals, widely used in smart cameras, industrial boxes, AI edge computing nodes, and other scenarios.

The Mac Mini M4 chip uses TSMC's second-generation 3nm process, with a core configuration of a 10-core CPU (6 performance cores + 4 efficiency cores) + 10-core GPU (hardware ray tracing support), suitable for running large AI models (such as Llama, Gemma, Whisper) and graphics processing locally.

In other words, the Mac Mini M4 is more oriented towards office computers, while the Qualcomm QCS8250 is more suited for industrial environments that require stable operation around the clock.

📌 Both products have their focus areas. It can be said that if you want to make money through mining but don't know how to deploy network nodes, purchasing a Mac mini M4 would be a burden; using dedicated mining equipment is better because the dedicated mining equipment system is customized, so you just plug it in and connect to the network to start mining.

3. About the NodeX100 miner

The NodeX series is a customized mining machine for AINX, divided into three products:

🔸 NodeX 100: Mining speed of 100 BIT/hour, with complete openness for daily mining, no restrictions.

🔸 NodeX Pro (8 GPU): Mining speed of 300 BIT/hour, with a maximum of 10,000 BIT per day.

🔸 NodeX Pro Max (dedicated AI chip): Mining speed of 500 BIT/hour, with a maximum of 15,000 BIT per day.

The BIT generation rate for all batches remains consistent; the earlier you participate, the longer you accumulate BIT. In the early stages when the total BIT amount in the network is relatively small, you will gain a significant first-mover advantage.

Currently, only the NodeX 100 is available for sale, with the first batch limited to 500 units. Additionally, the BIT base rate for the first batch of Node devices is increased by 20%, and the bonus is valid for 30 days. This means the NodeX 100 can mine 120 BIT per hour within the first 30 days.

✅ About the project

AINX can be understood as a decentralized edge AI version of Cloudflare + Render + HiveMapper, similar in concept to traditional Bitcoin and Filecoin, except the resources shift from 'storage' and 'computation' to 'AI inference services'.

Users provide inference computing power from home devices, and the project distributes tasks and rewards you with tokens.

NodeX100 is a dedicated edge computing node designed for the AINX distributed AI network, earning BIT rewards by running AI inference tasks. BIT can eventually be exchanged for the mainnet token $AINX or $SOL, and the official provides many bonuses for early users, with early user returns significantly higher than late participants.

🔸 The project is expected to issue tokens in Q4 2025, no later than Q1 2026.

🔸 The project received $2 million in early funding led by Alpha Gamma.
