LA serves as the fuel for the Lagrange cryptographic engine, where customers primarily pay fees for proof generation using LA, while provers are always rewarded with LA. Additionally, LA holders have voting rights within the decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) of the Lagrange Foundation, influencing protocol decisions.
Lagrange combines a decentralized zero-knowledge prover network and a hyper-parallel ZK co-processor, providing scalable, private, and verifiable blockchain computation. Its decentralized ZK prover network consists of specialized operators that generate zero-knowledge proofs; the ZK co-processor allows for gas-free, verifiable computations on historical blockchain data; and the infinite proof layer supports unlimited proof generation capacity, effectively eliminating scalability bottlenecks.
