⚡ Scalping Strategy with Footprint on 1-Minute Chart

📊 What is the Footprint?

The Footprint Chart shows each candle with volume data and order aggressiveness: how many contracts were executed at each price level and whether they were aggressive buys or sells (market orders). Ideal for detecting areas of imbalance and absorption.

🧠 Objective of the Strategy

To take advantage of volume imbalances and absorptions to enter quick scalps with high probability.

🛠 Necessary Tools

Footprint chart with Bid x Ask view.

Imbalance indicator (e.g., 3:1 or 4:1 imbalance).

Delta map per candle.

Total volume per candle.

Order book and depth level optional.

📈 Entry Conditions

👇 Long (buy):

Detect 1-minute candle with strong positive delta (e.g., +1500).

Marked imbalance on the buyer's side at several consecutive levels.

Volume spike (e.g., greater than the average of the last 10 candles).

Ideal if there is visible absorption (aggressive sales absorbed by limit orders).

☝️ Short (sell):

1-minute candle with strong negative delta (e.g., -1200).

Repeated seller-side imbalance.

Volume spike at resistance zone or after failed retest.

Absorption of buys at key area.

🚪 Exit

Take profit between 0.3% and 0.7% (depending on the spread).

Stop loss just below the absorption or imbalance level.

Option for trailing with decreasing delta.

📌 Pro Tips:

Avoid trading in consolidations or low volumes.

Combine with support/resistance zones and VWAP for greater accuracy.

Do not use more than x5 leverage to maintain risk control.
