The government of the United Kingdom โ according to the latest press reports โ is preparing to sell a significant amount of bitcoin (BTC), specifically 61,000 BTC, which is currently valued at more than ยฃ5 billion or approximately $7 billion. Most of these bitcoins were seized in 2018 as a result of a Chinese Ponzi scheme, and since then they have been under British state management.
