Strategy leader Saylor retweeted, saying that every time a new iPhone comes out, instead of buying the phone, he buys BTC, which is now worth 242 million dollars.
This data is so ironic; the iPhone depreciates rapidly while BTC retains its value like gold. Personally, I love this comparison as a reminder not to always chase consumer goods.
Linked to today's ETH whales buying frantically and ETF inflows, market sentiment is shifting from FOMO to long-term holding. If BTC breaks 120,000, shorts will explode.
In the coming months, similar memes will drive more newcomers into the market. I recommend beginners start with small regular investments in BTC, not going all in.
This makes sense, it really does, but the money from the first iPhone should be worth over 100 million dollars, right..
