NFT: not just pictures, but a digital culture

Review from a girl who still hasn't sold her first JPEG revolution

What is an NFT?

NFT (non-fungible token) is a unique digital asset stored on the blockchain. Not interchangeable, like a dollar for a dollar. Here, each token is like a painting: it can be sold, transferred, but only one and original.

Why do we need them?

- Art: digital artists gain recognition and monetization

- Gamification: skins, items, characters are now in the blockchain

- Collecting: “digital Pokémon” — only in your wallet

- Participation: owning an NFT can grant access to communities and offline events

What is the market like now?

After the hype of 2021, the market has become more mature. People are looking for value, not just a “picture of a monkey.” Projects with utility have emerged — like a ticket to the metaverse or membership in a DAO.

My experience

I bought my first NFT out of curiosity. Now it’s more than just a picture. It’s a style, a statement, an investment in digital identity.

Advice from me

Don’t buy NFTs just because of FOMO. Research the project, the team, and the utility. And don’t forget: JPEGs can also have soul. #nft $NFT $PAXG
