The holographic projection teacher paused the explanation of the evolution of interstellar currencies, smiled, and nodded: "That's a great question, Aileen."

The class fell silent.

The teacher continued, "The most deadly aspect is its lack of scalability and governance mechanisms. Whenever technical issues arise, the community can only split, argue, and hard fork... The last collapse even burned the currency reserves of the Pluto Trade Federation to zero."

The final image froze on an abandoned mine, where once-thundering cooling towers now lay in cold ruins.

With a wave of his hand, the teacher displayed an organic-shaped network flowing with blue light.

"And what about Cardano? It learned from those lessons, focusing on scientific auditing, modular design, and decentralized governance from day one. Even the legal agreements of lunar colonies can be directly written onto the Cardano chain without the need for a third party."
