Today's Learning

What are the characteristics of Lagrange?

1. Zero-Knowledge Proof (ZK) Technology:

- Zero-knowledge proofs allow for the verification of something as true without revealing the details of the data. For example, you can prove that an AI model's computation result is correct without disclosing the model or input data.

- This is particularly useful in privacy protection (such as healthcare, finance) and cross-chain data verification.

2. Decentralized ZK Prover Network:

- Composed of nodes operated by over 85 top operators (such as Coinbase, Kraken, OKX), ensuring a decentralized and censorship-resistant network.

- Nodes participate in proof generation by staking $LA tokens; failure may result in slashing, ensuring reliability.

3. ZK Coprocessor:

- Allows developers to query blockchain data like operating a database (supports SQL queries), without being constrained by high on-chain gas fees.

- It offloads complex computations off-chain, generates ZK proofs, and then verifies on-chain, resulting in high efficiency and low cost.

4. DeepProve (zkML):

- Designed specifically for AI, it can verify whether the inference results of AI models are correct. For instance, proving that an AI prediction is based on correct data and model, with a speed 158 times faster than other zkML solutions.

5. Cross-Chain Interoperability:

- Supports cross-chain data verification without relying on centralized bridges or oracles. For example, verifying whether the DAO voting results on Ethereum can be used on Scroll.

- Compatible with all EVM chains (Ethereum, Polygon, etc.), and will support non-EVM chains like Solana and Cosmos in the future.

6. $LA Tokens:

- LA is the native token of the Lagrange ecosystem, with a total supply of 1 billion and a current circulating supply of approximately 193 million.

- Used for paying proof generation fees, incentivizing node operators, staking, and governance. Token holders can earn a share of network fees by staking LA.
