A boss I know, who was thriving a few years ago, has now completely "disconnected"!
He spends all day in a big villa, singing, feeding fish, and drinking tea, without seeing anyone. All the business connections and relationships he built over the years are gone, and even the company he ran for over a decade has been dissolved; he has completely chosen a laid-back lifestyle.
He is particularly "strict" with his children: they are only allowed to take civil service exams, and entrepreneurship is out of the question! He provides a fixed monthly allowance for living expenses, and they can travel abroad but are not allowed to touch anything related to gambling.
When asked why he suddenly changed like this, he just waved his hand and said he wants to live a peaceful life.
He has not revealed a single word about the insights gained from twenty years of hard work.
