SWIFT Might Use #Ripple (XRP) or Hedera (HBAR) for Faster Bank Payments

People in the finance world are talking about which blockchain technology SWIFT, a major global financial network, will choose to make bank transfers quicker.

The world wants faster and easier ways to send money, and many different blockchain technologies are being considered. About six months ago, a SWIFT director mentioned they were testing Hedera (HBAR), but Ripple's XRP Ledger was also a possibility.

What's the Latest with SWIFT and Ripple (XRP)?

Just a few weeks ago, Ripple's CEO, Brad Garlinghouse, said that Ripple's technology is ready to compete with SWIFT. He believes XRP could be used for international payments, a market worth a huge $155 trillion. Instead of just working with SWIFT, Mr. Garlinghouse thinks the XRP Ledger should replace SWIFT entirely because it can do more.
