Breakouts do not always come from nowhere.

They often appear after a phase of accumulation or consolidation - when the price moves sideways, trading volume dries up, and most retail traders begin to lose patience.

But in this case, the smart trader intervenes and monitors the situation closely:

Is the price testing the same level repeatedly without breaking it?

Are the candles tightening, forming a pressure or rejection wick?

Is the trading volume drying up... or starting to rise at critical moments?

Then suddenly - a strong breakout candle.

Sometimes it’s a trap (false breakout)...

And at other times, it’s a high-probability move triggering a complete reversal of the trend or a continuation of it.
