As the leading DEX on the BNB chain, Cake's fundamentals are actually quite solid, but its price has been captivating—dropping from $20 all the way down to $1, like riding an elevator through a bull and bear market.
Perhaps it's because there were too many early retail investors and too much heavy investment; those who are now 'stuck to the point of being souls out of their bodies' don't know how many are left. Maybe, once the last batch of old users completely liquidates, Cake can truly welcome its spring.
Currently, I have 50% of Cake and BNB forming an LP, continuing to mine, treating it as earning some interest. In the short term, I'm not leaving; I won't consider exiting until Cake is above $5. Looking at the long term, I'm still willing to accompany it for another 5 to 8 years, after all, bull and bear markets are all about the psychology of opposing players.
