I’ve tried both spot and futures trading, and the difference is like day and night — not just in risk, but in ethics and mindset.

Spot trading is straightforward: I buy an asset, I own it. It’s halal, transparent, and works well with my daily routine since I have two jobs. It’s like investing with patience.

Futures, however, are tricky. Yes, the leverage is tempting — I've seen people double accounts in days… and lose everything even faster. From an Islamic perspective, many scholars consider futures trading haram due to elements of excessive uncertainty (gharar) and speculation.

Personally, I’ve learned the hard way. Now I stick to spot, focus on clean setups, and sleep better.
