Trump raises tariffs on Mexico and Europe.. their leaders warn of the consequences.

US President Donald Trump announced on Saturday a 30% tariff on imports from Mexico and the European Union starting from the beginning of August, following weeks of negotiations with the United States' important trading partners that did not result in a comprehensive agreement.

Trump announced the decision via two separate posts on the Truth Social platform, pointing to Mexico's role in the flow of drugs into the United States and the imbalance in trade with the European Union.
