#SECETF审批 【Exploring New Possibilities in DeFi: Discussing the Innovative Potential of Huma Finance】
Recently, I've been following the new developments in the decentralized finance space and found Huma Finance's "unsecured lending" model very interesting. Traditional DeFi lending often requires over-collateralization, which is not very user-friendly for many users who want to flexibly manage their funds. Huma enables eligible users to access liquidity more conveniently through an income-based credit assessment mechanism, which feels like it addresses a pain point in the industry.
I especially appreciate its exploration of integrating on-chain identity and credit systems—after all, in the blockchain world, "trustworthy" has always been an important topic. Huma attempts to automatically verify income sources through smart contracts, maintaining the decentralized nature while lowering the borrowing threshold, potentially opening the doors of DeFi for more small and medium-sized users.
