Spot trading and futures trading are two completely different strategies that I’ve explored. Spot trading involves buying crypto at the current market price and holding it, which feels safer for beginners. On the other hand, futures trading allows leverage and bigger potential profits, but also comes with higher risks. I tried 5x leverage on BTC once and gained fast, but also lost fast when the market turned. In my opinion, spot trading is better for long-term investors, while futures trading is for experienced traders who can handle volatility. Risk management is key in both strategies.
