Fake Crypto Purchase Robbery in Bangkok
In early July 2025, a robbery of 3.4 million Thai Baht occurred in a Bangkok shopping mall parking lot. This incident was a scam where money was defrauded during a supposed cryptocurrency purchase meeting.
Out of seven suspects, two have been apprehended, and the remaining five are still at large. Police stated that the group lured their victims through Facebook.
