The author of the bestseller 'Rich Dad, Poor Dad', Robert Kiyosaki, reported that he bought another bitcoin because he expects the cryptocurrency's price to rise to $1 million in the future.
"Bought another bitcoin today. I understand that I could be wrong and be a loser... But I believe that soon bitcoin will be worth $1 million," wrote the businessman on platform X. He acknowledged that the forecast may not come true, but added that it is better to be a 'loser' who believes in the impossible than a failure if the price of bitcoin really rises to $1 million.
Kiyosaki added that everyone must decide for themselves. Personally, he can afford to lose $100,000 because he has been a loser and a failure many times in his life and has learned lessons from his losses.
Kiyosaki began buying bitcoins when one coin was worth $6,000. According to the millionaire, he regrets starting to do this so late. In early February 2025, Kiyosaki admitted that at that time he owned 66 bitcoins (about $7 million at the current exchange rate).
The businessman regularly writes about how traditional financial markets will collapse and urges people to buy bitcoins, gold, and silver. Kiyosaki claims that he only trusts real assets and does not believe in those that can be 'printed'. He includes spot exchange-traded funds (ETFs) on bitcoin among the latter and does not invest in them.
At the end of 2024, when bitcoin was around $100,000, Kiyosaki predicted its price would fall to $60,000. At that time, the investor stated that he intended to buy more bitcoin during such a drop.
