As of today, it’s clear that even if 10 billion Pi coins exist in circulation, less than 1 million of them will operate at the Global Consensus Value (GCV).
Why?
Because a significant portion of Pi has been transferred to exchanges, causing those coins to permanently lose their Purity Badge ✅.
Dr. Nicolas Kokkalis once emphasized:
“Every Pi is scarce and valuable. And those Pioneers who persevere until the end will achieve great things in life.”
Dr. Chengdiao Fan also remarked:
“10 Pi is enough for a generation, and Pi is non-conformist!”
🔔 Important Update: Pi mining is nearing its end.
When the Global Open Mainnet launches, several game-changing updates will take place:
⸻
✅ Major Features Coming with Global Open Mainnet:
• Gas fees on the Pi network will significantly decrease
• Pi will receive an official contract address on the Pi Blockchain Network
• Over 300 nodes will be live and running globally
• Pi Browser will reflect the real-time GCV via the Pi Blockchain Explorer
• Wallet balances in the Pi Browser will display the dollar equivalent underneath
⸻
🧾 Your Pi Wallet Will Show Two Types of Balances:
1. Contribution Balance
• Mined Pi that has never been transferred to any exchange
• Purity Badge ✅ intact
• Fully functional at GCV
2. Non-Contribution Balance
• Pi that has been transferred to any exchange
• Purity Badge ✅ lost permanently
• Not valid at GCV
⸻
❌ No Way to Cheat the System
To hold Pi with Purity Badge ✅, you must:
• Create and verify your Pi account
• Mine for at least 30 days
• Complete your KYC
• Be in the migration queue
Once migrated, the Core Team will send your Pi coins (with the Purity Badge ✅) directly to your Pi Browser wallet.
⚠️ However, if you transfer these coins to an exchange — the Purity Badge ✅ is lost forever, even if they are sent back.
