Recently, my friends have started investing, and out of 10 people, 7 or 8 of them fell for 'FOMO' right from their first trades. 😓

📌 What is FOMO?

To put it simply, FOMO is the feeling you get when you see others making money, fear you are falling behind, so you rush in without knowing what you are doing.

Why is it easy for newcomers to fall for FOMO?

👉 1. Seeing everyone making profits, thinking you just need to jump in to win

Scrolling through Facebook and TikTok, everyone is showing off profits, 'doubling accounts', 'made big profits in just a week', just hearing that makes you anxious. If I see that… why not give it a try?

👉 2. The mindset of 'fear of missing out'

A stock or coin is skyrocketing, friends urge: 'Hurry up and get in, or you'll miss out!' – and so you jump in… forgetting to ask: 'Why is it going up?' or 'Can I handle it if it turns back down?'

👉 3. No knowledge, and no plan yet

Just hearing a few phrases like 'this one is hot', 'big funds are buying' and… you buy right away. There’s no clear plan, no stopping point, and you’re not sure when to cut losses.

How to reduce FOMO?

✅ Learn the basics, at least understand what you are investing in.

✅ Have a clear plan: When to buy, when to sell, how much loss you can tolerate before stopping.

✅ Accept one thing: Opportunities are always there – you don't need to rush.

💬 In summary:

Investing is not a race to see who is faster, but a game for those who understand what they are doing. Every time you see 'others making big profits', ask yourself: Am I investing, or just afraid of being left out?
