To the Presidency of T.C. Maltepe Municipality

On June 23, 2025, we visited the Seyirtepe Social Facility located in Maltepe. However, I would like to inform you that we experienced serious dissatisfaction contrary to our expectations.

Firstly, while the purpose of social facilities is to provide services to the public at reasonable prices, the prices we encountered were far above market conditions. For example, an exorbitant fee of 400₺ was charged for a single hamburger. Moreover, there were deficiencies in the content of the hamburger, the portion of French fries was extremely inadequate, as if counted, and the bread was stale.

The quality of service at this establishment, under the supervision of Mrs. Esin Köymen, who we learned is the manager of the facility, was also very low. While social facilities are generally crowded and lively, there were only two tables occupied when we visited. Our orders were brought approximately 45 minutes later and in bits and pieces; this indicates a serious lack of organization.

I present this situation, which contradicts the understanding of public service in terms of price policy, service quality, and general business approach, for your information; I request that necessary inspections be carried out and a standard suitable for the public interest be ensured.
