Israel has officially confirmed the ceasefire.
In a statement from the government, it was noted that last night Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu convened the cabinet along with the Minister of Defense, the Chief of Staff, and the head of Mossad to report that 'Israel has achieved all the goals of the operation and even more'.
'Israel has eliminated a dual immediate existential threat — both in the nuclear field and in the area of ballistic missiles. In addition, the Israel Defense Forces have achieved full control over the airspace of Tehran, inflicted serious damage on military leadership, and destroyed dozens of objects of the central Iranian government. Israel thanks President Trump and the United States for their defensive support and participation in eliminating the Iranian nuclear threat. In light of achieving the goals of the operation and in full coordination with President Trump, Israel agreed to the president's proposal for a bilateral ceasefire. Israel will respond firmly to any violation of the ceasefire,' the government stated.
