The Fed just eliminated a major excuse used by U.S. banks to reject crypto. It removed “reputational risk” from banking rules, a vague term that allowed banks to cut off clients like crypto companies based on bad publicity (even if untrue). Now, U.S. banks must evaluate crypto based on facts, not fear.
