Since April 28, wallets associated with the Trump team have sent a total of 12.54 million TRUMP coins to exchange platforms.
That total amounts to approximately $150.68 million. These deposits have been made in four distinct batches. The last deposit was traced from a wallet labeled "Official Trump Meme? Squads Vault".
It sent 3.527 million TRUMP to another wallet, which quickly sent the same amount to Binance's active wallet. Before this transfer, a smaller deposit of 189 TRUMP was also made, worth approximately $1,760.
When large amounts of tokens are sent to exchange platforms, it usually indicates a possible liquidation. It does not confirm a sale, but offers investors and traders a point of interest. The team responsible for the wallet may be looking to take advantage of current prices.
The timing of these transfers is also interesting. The most recent large transfer to date took place on June 4. That day, $46.97 million in meme coin was deposited into Binance and other exchange platforms.
The frequency and size of the deposits suggest a plan by token holders to reduce risk or capture profits. Some users believe it could be part of a funding strategy. The effect on the price depends on the amount of deposited tokens that are sold.
