In the past, the father would raise, the brother would punish, the uncle would hit, the neighbor would reproach, the colleague would blame, the community would criticize, and the friend would advise. Shame was surrounded from every side, to the extent that the word 'shame' was given a thousand considerations. Oh, how I wish modesty would return one day.
We no longer know what we are fighting against: the epidemic, the affliction, the ignorance, or the lack of modesty. There has never been a time in history or an era more miserable, abominable, lower, or more absurd than these years we are living today. Years that have turned the scales so that morals, honor, dignity, justice, human compassion, and mercy have become rare commodities. The promotion of good and the prohibition of evil are no longer practiced, and unfortunately, falsehood is not refrained from.
We thank God and praise Him in every situation; we ask God to improve everyone's condition.
