Changpeng Zhao: cryptocurrency exchanges need a will function

📊 Former Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao called on all crypto platforms to implement a digital will mechanism. His statement came against the backdrop of an update to the emergency contact feature on Binance.

➡️ Now Binance users can:

🔵 add a trusted person;

🔵 transfer assets to heirs upon confirmation of kinship and death certificate;

🔵 notify another user if the account has been inactive for a long time.

🕐 Zhao:

"We do not live forever yet. Platforms are obliged to allow users to specify in advance who and in what shares their assets will go to."

📊 According to estimates by cryptobraveHQ, $1 billion in crypto assets remains unclaimed each year, benefiting exchanges.

🟢 Zhao also suggested allowing registration for underage users with limited access.

🕕 Previously, Michael Saylor (Strategy/MicroStrategy) stated that he intends to leave his BTC for the benefit of humanity.
