$USDC Leak of 16 billion passwords from Apple, Facebook, Google, and others

Security researchers have discovered that this may be one of the largest data leaks in history — a collection of 30 databases containing a staggering 16 billion records.

According to a new report from Cybernews, the data was likely compiled by various cybercriminals, and possibly even white hat hackers or researchers, using ransomware.

The databases vary greatly in size — some contain just a few million records, while others contain billions. The data leak includes accounts from major platforms such as Google, Apple, VPN services, GitHub, Telegram, and others. Of the 30 datasets, only one has been previously covered in the media: a mysterious database containing 184 million records.
