# **Trump Urges Stablecoin Bill to Be Delivered to His Desk Immediately**

President of the United States (US) Donald Trump urged the US House of Representatives to promptly pass the Genius Act Bill regulating stablecoins and deliver it to him for immediate enactment into law.

“The Senate has just passed an extraordinary bill that will make the United States an unmatched leader in the digital asset sector,” Trump wrote on his Truth Social page, Thursday (06/19).

Not only that, Trump requested that the submission of the Genius Act Bill be sent to the White House without delay and without any additions.

“Send it to my desk, as soon as possible. Without delay, without additions,” Trump continued.

As is well known, the Guiding and Establishing National Innovation for US Stablecoin Bill or Genius Act has been approved by the Senate with a vote of 68-30, which establishes a regulatory framework for stablecoins pegged to the US dollar, including a 1:1 reserve requirement, anti-money laundering measures, and monthly audits.

Therefore, after being passed by the US Senate, the next vote will be held in the House of Representatives, where the Republican Party also holds a slim majority over the Democratic Party.
