Why is America stopping Iran?

The above "meme" springs to mind. Is America stopping Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons while saying they have nuclear weapons to justify getting yourself involved with a war? I like other are puzzled as to why the focus has now been shifted from a hike problem to an outside problem UNLESS he wants America and the rest of the world to forget the recent troubles in America. Do you believe Trump wanting to get involved is a multiple push to look good? Do you believe he is getting involved to distract people?
