Although it passed in the Senate with bipartisan support (68 to 30 votes), the GENIUS Act is not without controversies. Now, the bill moves to the U.S. House of Representatives for consideration and possible revisions. If approved in both chambers and signed by the President, the GENIUS Act will become a landmark in the regulation of crypto-assets in the United States.
