#VietnamCryptoPolicy Vietnam has legalized cryptocurrencies as part of a new digital technology law.

But this is not the end of the matter - the country is clearly aiming to become a regional leader in digitization. In addition to the crypto market, the law introduces tax relief and incentives for companies working with artificial intelligence, semiconductors, and digital infrastructure.

The authorities proudly announced that they have become "the first country to adopt a separate law on the digital industry." However, it is not entirely clear whether to consider this an innovation or merely a feature of the bureaucratic approach - in other countries, similar regulations are usually integrated into existing legislation.
