#越南加密政策 Current Status of Cryptocurrency Policy and Regulatory Framework in Vietnam

Vietnam has not yet clarified the legal status of cryptocurrencies, but the government's attitude towards digital assets is gradually becoming more open. In 2024, the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) stated that it is researching a regulatory framework for cryptocurrencies, focusing on anti-money laundering (AML) and investor protection. Although trading is not prohibited, financial institutions are not allowed to participate in cryptocurrency business. Young people in Vietnam have a high acceptance of cryptocurrencies, and many investors trade through P2P platforms. The government is considering introducing clearer regulations to regulate the market.
