Three trading methods I have used:
Trend Trading Method (for Bull Markets)
When the market is good, don’t fear the high prices; fear not being bold enough. Pick strong coins, and after making a profit, don’t rush to sell everything; continue to increase your position, rolling it like a snowball.
Key Points:
Don’t randomly pick coins; only trade the strongest ones in front of you;
Set a line for pullbacks, for example, if you make 50%, once it drops back by 10%, decisively reduce your position.
Swing Trading Method
Is the market not crazy but not dead? Don’t sit idle; pick a few altcoins you are familiar with and trade them back and forth, accumulating small victories into big ones.
Key Points:
Take some profit after every swing of 20%-30%.
Hold some positions for a chance at higher gains, but don’t be greedy.
Familiar coins allow you to grasp their rise and fall rhythm.
Hedging Trading Method (for Advanced Players)
If you hold some spot assets and the market is unstable, use contracts to hedge and lock in profits. Once you have the right direction, break through with the contracts, then transfer the profits back to spot.
Key Points:
Hold onto your spot assets, don’t touch them; contracts specifically for timing.
Withdraw profits from contracts.
If you don’t understand, don’t use it blindly; it’s easy to get liquidated.
To put it bluntly, rolling trading isn’t some mysterious technique, but a set of strategies.
The key is knowing:
When to enter and when to exit?
How to pick strong coins?
How to reasonably set take-profit and pullback levels?
These are not things you can just copy from the internet; I learned from countless pitfalls before I figured them out.
The market is still ongoing, and the bull market has not completely closed. Many people want to seize this opportunity, but those who can truly execute it well are rare.
