To be honest, there are indeed many ways to make money now, but those who can truly get rich are ultimately few.
First, we need to clarify what 'getting rich' means—if you take a capital of one million and make two to three million, or turn five million into ten million, that doesn't count as getting rich in my book. With the housing prices and cost of living in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen, this kind of increase really doesn't change life at all. In my opinion, it has to be a tenfold or eightfold increase in assets to be called a true transformation.
Take that young guy under me, for instance. In 2017, he caught the wave of the altcoin boom and got into the NEO+ concept, turning a capital of 200,000 into 5 million. He was quite straightforward; he promptly bought a house in Suzhou, quit his job, and went to Yunnan to partner up and open a specialty restaurant, enjoying life for a full two years.
In my circle, he’s the only one who meets this standard of getting rich. However, this year has been lively; I can count more than ten acquaintances who have tripled their capital... I’ve also hopped on this bandwagon. There's more money now, but life still goes on the same way; even my spouse complains, 'Besides having a few more zeros to count, life hasn’t changed at all.' In my view, this year should at least aim for a tenfold increase. Let’s encourage each other, my friends, and strive for a new level!
