• The United States imposed an overall tariff on Chinese imports of 55% including:

• 10% basic.

• 20% criminal message (fentanyl).

• 25% of previous compounded tariffs.

• In return, the Chinese side maintained a 10% tariff on American imports.

The impact of tariffs on traders and consumers.

• According to an analyst from Bank of America, traders are able to bear tariffs up to 10%, but exceeding that requires them to use or raise prices, which may affect consumers, especially in the fashion and non-essential goods sectors.
